Prawn Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Prawns, shelled and deveined
  • 2 Red Capsicum, deseeded and cut into 1cm strips
  • 500 gm Sugar Snap Peas, tailed
  • 2 tbps Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tsp Fish sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic, peeled and grated
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Rice bran oil or Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Xiao Xing Wine
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
  • Chilli optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat a wok on high and add oils.
  • Now add the prawns, ginger and chilli (optional) and cook stirring for 2 minutes.
  • Add the garlic, snap peas and capsicum, stir to mix well, then add the wine and stir again.
  • Now add the sauces, stirring and cook for for a further 10 minutes and serve with steamed rice.

Notes

Same recipe can be used to make stir fried noodles. Just add the noodles.
